2. When can I expect a rush Holiday order? (Ordered December 16th - December 23rd)
Unless otherwise noted, Holiday orders are normally verified and shipped within 24 hours from the receipt of your order. We strongly suggest that you select express shipping to ensure timely arrival during this period. NOTE: UPS does not pick up packages from our warehouse on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays.
3. What is the shipping status of my order?

If there are any complications with the information you submitted or with the merchandise you ordered, you will be contacted immediately by a Vitesse Exchange representative via email or telephone.
5. I have received my order but...You sent me the wrong item - what do I do?
If you have received an item other than the one described in your order confirmation, click hereto contact us immediately. With the exception of Canadian orders and non-serviced UPS locations in the USA, we will email you a prepaid UPS return label. Once we receive the item from you, we will then send you the correct item via UPS express shipping at no charge. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
6. I don't like the item or it doesn't fit - what do I do?
Returns must be sent to us within 14 days from the receipt of your order. You must include a copy of your receipt along with a note, indicating what you would like to do. Exchanges are subject to style, color, and size availability. If the item you want is not available, a store credit or refund will be issued. For more detailed information on returns, view our store policy page.
7. I only received some of the items I ordered - what's the deal?
VitesseExchange.com will only charge you for items shipped. If you placed an order for items listed as "Out of Stck" or "On Order", we obviously cannot ship those items. On rare occasions items listed as "In-Stock" at the time of order placement, become "Out of Stock" by the time the order is picked from the warehouse. If you have been charged for an item you have not received (please refer to your receipt), it is possible that the item was missed when picking the order. If you have been charged for merchandise you have not received, click here.
8. I have credit card & billing issues. My card will not work - what's going on?
The most common reason for transactions being denied is address verification. If the billing information you submit does not match the information on file with your financial institution, the charge will be rejected. We recommend that you contact your financial institution and review your account information before attempting further transactions.
9. I did not complete an order but my credit card company says I've been charged! What's up?
99% of the time, YOU HAVE NOT ACTUALLY BEEN CHARGED. This is an extremely frustrating situation for our customers as well as the eCommerce industry. This problem is attributed to the way that banks verify billing information and reserve funds from consumers for online transactions. The financial industry requires fund verification/fund reservation BEFORE address verification occurs. It works like this:
1. You enter your credit card information into the payment page and submit for payment
2. Your bank or credit card company is contacted to see if your funds are available.
3. If funds are available, the bank or credit card company authorizes the amount, and reserves that amount and attaches an "authorization code" to the amount.
4. AFTER the funds are verified, your name, address, and billing info is then sent to a separate Address Verification System (AVS) for validation.
5. If you entered any incorrect billing information, the AVS system rejects the verification and you are instructed to correct your billing information and submit it again.
The Result: because the funds are reserved, banks assume your card will eventually be charged for each attempt. A new and unique authorization number is granted for a charge on every attempt.
VITESSE EXCHANGE WILL NOT ACTUALLY CHARGE THE AMOUNT!
The Problem: The financial industry requires fund verification/holding funds before address verification occurs. There has already been an authorization granted and funds held on the first payment attempt! This can happen over and over again - resulting in multiple authorizations/fund reservation, regardless of whether an order actually gets through.
VitesseExchange.com has absolutely NO CONTROL over the fund verification/AVS process or this problem.
The Solution: eCommerce is a new frontier and many of the problems and legal issues still need to be ironed out. We feel that federal legislation should be in motion to require financial institutions to reverse the current AVS/Fund Authorization process so that funds are not held prior to AVS.
10. My credit card statement says I've been charged more than once for my order! What's up?
